CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

our work doesn't stop at helping charities

We believe in walking the walk - Our support of charity and social good goes beyond "its just business". GCS voluntarily participates in a number of initiatives that support our employees, society, and the greater good.

The Ontario Living Wage Network is a voluntary initiative to address the cost of living crisis affecting all Canadians. The organization calculates the "true" living wage required to support a family of four throughout different regions in Canada. The current provincially mandated minimum wage is $16.55/hour. The Ontario living wage is calculated at $25.05/hour.

At GCS, we do not want our employees to rely on the very charities we support. That's why we pay every employee a living wage and why GCS is a certified living wage employer.

GCS COMMITTMENT

What good is a company that supports charity but doesn't encourage it?

At Global Coin Solutions, charity is our business. Which is why in addition to our charity processing and cash management operations, from 2024 onwards we have committed to donate 1% of our profit directly to the fantastic causes that we're privileged to support.

We poll our employees yearly and allow them to decide how the money is donated.

A better tomorrow, Today.

KARIS DISABILITY SERVICES

Karis Disability Services (formerly Christian Horizons) is a federally recognized nonprofit organization dedicated to the support of those with disabilities and neuro-divergence. Global Coin Solutions has partnered with Karis to offer high quality, living wage job opportunities for these communities through Karis's network.

While rewarding, coin sorting can be tedious. Its highly structured and repetitive nature makes individuals with autism or requiring restrictive repetitive behaviors (RRBs) extremely well suited and comfortable with this type of employment.
